Today we hold the leadership in the air and sea modal, making several partnerships with our customers in the transport of refrigerated, dry and dangerous cargo. Recently we had a large share in the Covid-19 testing and medical segment, doing more than one hundred import shipments with a big customer, bringing COVID´s tests, reagents, perishable´s cargo under temperature control and medical´s equipments.

with a challenge: distribute its products in the main markets in Europe. With this objective in hand, we created a specific transport and a sort of distribution strategies, involving logistics agents so that everything happened in a synchronized way.
Intermodal has its own warehouse and, upon receiving the customer's cargo, we identified a problem: the fragility of the packaging. We immediately took measures to properly repack and palletize, safely accommodating everything, so during the journey there would be no damage to the products and any damage to the customer.
Upon receiving the cargo, our agents in Europe did the clearance, safely transporting it to the customer's warehouse.
Intermodal provided all the guidelines and
several solutions that ensured quality throughout the door-to-door process of the logistics chain. The results were so satisfactory that we received similar demands from other companies in this segment.
This customer has been assisted by Intermodal for 13 years and has several products in the dangerous cargo category, mainly the flammable ones. The company, as it uses air boarding, requires that the all the IATA standards be strictly complied with. Before the partnership, the client itself got this cargo ready for shipment, but, because of the many details, this shipment was not always approved in the airline's 1st checklist.
